Defendant Elmer Roger Martinez was convicted of the crime of theft in violation of ? 18-4-401(1)(a), C.R.S. 1973. The principal issue on appeal, one of first impression in Colorado, is whether the Colorado courts have jurisdiction over this offense which originated in the State of New Mexico. Since we conclude that Colorado did have jurisdiction, and that defendants other allegations of error are without merit, we affirm the conviction.
